You Betcha, Fargo

Fargo. It’s a great film and a great place. And the largest city I’ve seen in a while.

I’ve only been here once before but on that trip made a good friend, who also has happens to be a tattoo artist in town, so you can probably guess what that meant. I also visited a great coffee shop, tasty pizza place and sweet bike coop, similar to Buffalo Blue Bikes. I also had the pleasure of illegally camping in the city park downtown at the super low low cost of free. And even though it rained it bit, Fargo was a great day of fun.

But alas, no Steve Buscemi and no woodchipper. Darn.

Next up state number five: Minnesota.

Plain Ole Plains

Bicycling across the plains. After so many mountains and ups an downs and turns, it starts to feel like Bill Murray in the film Groundhog Day. Same day over and over, I’m trying to find ways to give each day a different feel.

Big shout out to Chester Montana though: Picnic area with bathrooms, grocery store with EVERYTHING, and free camping in the town park. They even have a sign telling you where to camp to avoid the sprinklers in the morning; which is always a tricky situation.
