Nutrition on this tour has been a tale of two extremes. On one hand so many gracious people have welcomed me into their homes and cooked extravagant meals. For example, last night John and Meg prepared and amazingly delicious feast utilizing locally grown and prepared foods! Thanks again for that.
On the flip side, 80% of my sustenance has consisted of peanut butter an fruit. Fruit is fruit, hopefully no pesticides, etc. But the PB has been some of the worst ever. Not in taste. But most of it has been FULLY hydrogenated soybean oil. Never mind the fact that at home I avoid even the partially hydrogenated stuff, I’m Noe regularly chowing down on the fully hydrogenated brand. Tough to find the good stuff in gas stations coast to coast. American you need to get your ish together before we all become fully hydrogenated humans.
I would mention the high fructose corn syrup I’ve been subjected to, but my phone battery is low. Eat right or die early!!!
